Fathers are often expected to understand unfamiliar processes while searching across official websites, professional advice, forums and social media. It can be difficult to know what applies, what matters first or what may happen next.
Dads Who Care organises clear educational guidance so fathers can understand the process earlier, prepare useful questions and make more informed decisions.
Built from lived experience
Created from years spent trying to understand the process
Dads Who Care was created by a father who spent years navigating private family law while trying to remain an active and loving presence in his child's life.
Much of what he needed to understand only became clear once he was already inside the process. The terminology, the stages, what mattered at each point and what might happen next were rarely explained anywhere in one place.
That experience involved many of the difficult and unfamiliar issues that can arise during proceedings, including Cafcass, court hearings, disputed allegations, independent professionals, supervised contact, different forms of legal representation and significant personal and financial pressure.
Dads Who Care organises what he learned into Learning Journeys and structured educational guidance, so other fathers have a clearer starting point and can understand the process earlier, without piecing it together through confusion, conflict or avoidable cost.
