This policy explains how Dads Who Care uses cookies and similar technologies, why they are used, and what choices you have.
DHC Solutions operates Dads Who Care. The current service primarily uses technologies required to sign you in and keep your account session secure while you use the platform.
At a glance
- We use one type of technology directly on the Dads Who Care website: cookies that keep you securely signed in to your account.
- We do not currently use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics.
- When you start or manage a membership, you may be taken to a secure page hosted by Stripe, which may use its own cookies there, not on Dads Who Care itself.
- Because our sign-in cookies are necessary to provide the account service you ask for, we do not currently need to ask for your consent to use them.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website stores in your browser. Current UK data protection law also applies more broadly to similar technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device, such as browser storage. This policy uses "cookies and similar technologies" to cover both.
Technologies Dads Who Care uses
This is every cookie or similar technology set directly on the Dads Who Care website.

During registration or a password reset, a short-lived technical cookie may also be used to complete that process securely. It is part of the same authentication technology described above and is not used for any other purpose.
Authentication and session technologies
Dads Who Care needs to know that you are securely signed in to show you your account, membership and any member-only content. Without this, we could not keep you signed in as you move between pages, or tell your account apart from anyone else's.
These cookies are used only to run the account and membership service you have asked for. We do not use these cookies to track your browsing for advertising or to build an advertising profile of you.
Because they are necessary to provide the signed-in service you request, current UK cookie rules mean we do not need to ask for your separate consent to use them. This is sometimes called an exception for technologies that are "strictly necessary" to provide a service you have asked for.
Stripe Checkout and billing
Dads Who Care does not process or store your full payment card details, and does not embed Stripe's payment technology directly on our own pages. When you choose to start or manage a membership, you are redirected to a secure page hosted by Stripe, our payment provider.
Stripe's hosted Checkout and Billing Portal pages may use their own cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as processing your payment and detecting and preventing fraud. These technologies are set on Stripe's own website, not on Dads Who Care, and DHC Solutions does not control them. You can read more in Stripe's own Cookie Policy.
Analytics and advertising
Dads Who Care does not currently use cookies or similar technologies for behavioural advertising, retargeting or third-party analytics. We do not use tools such as Google Analytics, or advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
If this changes in a way that requires your consent, we will review this Cookie Policy and put an appropriate consent mechanism in place before introducing those technologies.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their own settings. Because Dads Who Care relies on cookies to keep you signed in, blocking or deleting them may prevent you from signing in or from using member-only features, such as your account, membership and the Knowledge Library.
Dads Who Care does not currently offer a separate cookie preference centre, since consent is not required for the technologies described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if Dads Who Care starts using cookies or similar technologies in a materially different way, for example if we introduce analytics or a new feature that requires them. If we make a significant change, we will update the date below and, where required, put in place an appropriate way for you to give your consent before any new technology is used.
